Base Labs Sea Salt Concentrate is an all-natural wound soak which works by irrigating the site of your piercing, hydrating the skin’s cells and flushing out nasty invaders which could be responsible for swelling, inflammation, keloid bump formation and infection. This sea salt piercing wash not only cleanses wounds of scabs, ichor, dirt, bacteria, dried discharge and lymph secretions, but promotes speedy recovery of your piercing, bump or wound.

Sea Salt reduces crust forming on new piercings and helps to prevent pockets of trapped matter from building up, which can lead to the formation of bumps and keloids, which can be difficult to eliminate. The warm water will also open up the skin’s capillaries, stimulating the blood flow which transports oxygen to the region, promoting healing.

All-Natural Infusion:

Pure Sea Salt - Sea salt actively helps the body to clean and promote healing by a process called osmosis. The sodium chloride present in the salt forces the liquid in damaged cells to move out of the body. If those liquids are bacterial, they'll be forced out too, effectively cleansing the skin and protecting against infection.

Tea Tree Oil - The inherent antibacterial properties of tea tree oil make it a powerful and effective wound healer. Tea Tree Essential Oil is also an antifungal, moisturizer, toner, cleanser and astringent - all in one organic cure-all ingredient. 

Rosemary Oil - A potent antioxidant, rosemary oil heals and protects the skin while also providing antimicrobial and antifungal benefits. It’s anti-inflammatory properties also help to reduce swelling and inflammation of the skin.

Aloe Vera Extract - Aloe Vera is anti-inflammatory and rich in antioxidants and minerals that boost the skin healing process. Bursting with polyphenols along with several other compounds which help inhibit the growth of certain bacteria that can cause infections.

How It Works:

1. Mix ¼ teaspoon of Sea Salt Concentrate in an 8oz cup of warm water. Make sure the sea salt is properly mixed.
2. Dip a cotton ball or cotton pad in the warm sea salt water and apply it to the target area.
3. Soak your new or irritated piercing/keloid for at least 5 minutes, twice a day, until healed.
